A quick reminder to all hams in the Essex area, that next Tuesday, the 3rd of July 2012, is the CARS (Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society) Tabletop Sale.
Held at the Marconi Social Club, Beehive Lane, Chelmsford, this is an opportunity to have a browse for bargains in amateur radio equipment, as well as good condition audio, electronic, photographic, computer and electrical equipment.
Entry is free to buyers and viewers, and doors open at 7:30pm on Tuesday evening. There’s free car parking, and refreshments are available at the Marconi bar.

The Ipswich Rally
If it’s not possible to get to Chelmsofrd on Tuesday, you can also consider a trip to Ipswich as on Sunday the 1st ogf July, it’s the Ipswich Rally – This is a ham radio car boot sale, with the RSGB bookstall, various lcal clubs and some live radio demonstrations.
