If you’re a young operator, or know of someone who might be interested in helping out at an event in July, please see the following request from Thurrock Acorns:
On the 18th July, we have been asked to take part in the Condovers Open Day. The event is geared towards young people, and we are trying to get a couple of licensed young operators (ideally 10 – 18 age range) to be involved.
We hope that by having youngsters operating/on the stand we may encourage some other youngsters to take an interest in amateur radio and TAARC.
Condovers Scout Activity Centre is a Scouting centre just to the east of Tilbury.
