The 34th Canvey Radio Rally took place on the 3rd of February 2019 – with a new look! After being at its old home for many years, this year’s event was held at the Cornelius Vermuyden School on Canvey Island.
The event was very well attended, with a good mix of traders, clubs and enthusiasts looking to pick up a bargain. In another exciting development, the ever-popular bacon baguettes were supplemented with sausage baguettes too. Well done to the South Essex Amateur Radio Society for once again hosting the largest radio rally in Essex.

Thank you for the video report of the Canvey Rally , I am sorry I was unable to attend again this year, but as an Essex ex. pat. in Berkshire it is a long way to commute ! New venue looks good, I only hope the car park pre-opening que is better protected for the biting easterlies ! As a hearing aid user, please consider when adding music to video productions not to have too much level. I prefer 5-9 armchair rather than 4-5 struggling a bit .
