SEARS, the South Essex Amateur Radio Society, is set to move its club HQ from Canvey Island to Thundersley.
The new location is just a couple of minutes away from the A127 Rayleigh Weir, making it potentially more accessible than the club’s previous home at the Canvey Island Yacht Club.
Thanks to the team at SEARS for providing Essex Ham with the following information:
The South Essex Amateur Radio Society is on the move to a new meeting venue from our old venue at the Island Yacht Club to a more central location in Castle Point. From the 13 May, we will be using the Swans Green Hall in Hart Road, corner with The Rundels, Thundersley, SS7 3PE for our meetings.
The hall is equipped with wheelchair access and toilet, and has ample car parking available and a good kitchen where Tea and Coffee will be available during our meetings.
Further details on our website www.southessex-ars.co.uk – all members from other clubs are very welcome at our meetings .
