Facebook Group for new M7's in Cornwall and Devon (1 reply)

I am based in Truro and I am happy to form a M net. The only issue is that I don't like Facebook. Whatsapp and/or Twitter are tolerated. Skype or Zoom calls are also an option.
My call sign is M7BPR and I had my licence last month. I am operating HF portable only from the beach of Portscatho (until I can setup the right antenna in the loft). I was abe to reach the Canary Islands on 40m/10Watts and it is easy to reach France/Italy. Unfortunately, it is not a great success with mainland UK stations. Not a single QSO but I only set the antenna for DX facing south on 40m until now. Data is my next plan but I need a dedicated laptop/sound card for the portable setup.

I've set up a FB Group http://www.facebook.com/groups/908031106641080/ Cornwall and Devon M7's Amateur Radio Group. It's basically a group for M7's in Devon and Cornwall to exchange experiences, websites, ask questions and hopefully get some answers. Nothing formal just a group to share ideas and have a friendly chat and meet M7's in the area.
