Hi Terry. You may not have the usb cable pushed firmly enough into the radio. Mine was suffering the same problem until I pushed it fully in. also you need the Prolific USB to serial comport driver for the PC to "see" the radio

Hi all, do i have to reboot the hand set, back to factory standard, to up date the radio set as i cannot flash it. The light is on screen blank but it will no reconise the the radio.
