Hello everyone, I am James / M0JFP / WO2I
I have been working with my local club in Chertsey and a manufacturer in China to design and build a new DMR hand held. The samples arrived last week and we will be testing on both BM and Phoenix networks. Our project is called Trilogy.
The aim of our project is to get a reasonably priced DMR radio, and supply it to the user with a fully working code plug and their own DMR ID, so the radio arrives ready to use. We are working very hard to get the price to under the £100 mark. Testing so far has had some great reports including good solid radio, feels great in the hand, display is bright and clear and most important the audio out and in are both as good in test against a higher priced Hytera.
During our testing we will be using 2 models (big) and (small) both are hand held. We will be tracking this project at our web page: http://chertseyradioclub.blogspot.co.uk/p/blog-page_6.html
Trilogy Easy Access aims to make DMR available to everyone on a budget.
Please feel free to ask questions or post comments here (I hope this is OK)
Best 73 and many thanks
James.
