CT100 coax (1 reply)
just had a look and its 75 ohm, so not much use to you you need 50 ohm
good to hear you are enjoying radio, FT8 can be fun and its amazing how far you can get with just the 10w allowance of an M7 license

New member and licensee. Passed foundation exam a couple of weeks ago.
I was lucky to pick up a second hand icom 7300, and currently enjoying FT8.
I've been given a reel of CT100 coax, which I realise is really for satellite installations. It is solid copper centre, foam dielectric, with copper braid and foil shield.
Would this be any good for a 2m/70cm setup?
I'm on a really steep learning curve,so any help appreciated
