Antenna connection on PCB (1 reply and 1 comment)
It is unusual but not unheard of to solder coax directly to a PCB. Normally, some sort of connector is used to control impedance and also provide some strain relief. What equipment is this, and what sort of antenna are you trying to connect?

It’s a frequency counter pcb, I’ve put in in a plastics box, I have an antenna connector on the box but now need to connect it to the board

Hi all,
just quick question, I need to connect my antenna input to. PCB, am I right in assuming the centre core on the coax goes to the S sign and the outer shielding to the earth symbol?
