I live in an area that is poorly served by analogue 2m/70cm Repeaters and I am looking to C4FM Fusion to widen my choice.
I note that, like analogue, most Fusion Repeaters have advertised CTCSS tones that are necessary to access the Repeater. However, two Fusion Repeaters in my area (GB7HL and GB7JM) don't have an advertised CTCSS tone.
Does this mean that they are closed to amateurs like myself and perhaps only accessible to local clubs? A search of the internet hasn't help explain this exception and I would welcome the experience of others who use this mode.
