DMR Talk Groups (2 replies and 1 comment)
Sounds like you are on the right track.
Certainly for Phoenix repeaters, I would make each of the main TalkGroups a Channel within the Zone that represents the Repeater.
(If your radio only allows 16 Channels per Zone then you could have a Zone for the TimeSlot1 TalkGroups and another Zone for the TS2 TGs)
But yes, these channels will all have the same frequencies and Colour Code, but the TS will change according to the TG.

Hi just want to ask when setting up talks groups on dmr radio do they normally use the same repeater frequency has the main repeater that you are using for example my local repeater is GB7FW uplink 430.6625 downlink 439.6625 and you just create talkgroups with ids TG235, TG80,TG81 ect ? let me know if I am right or wrong about this thanks.
