Re-issue of licence (1 reply and 2 comments)
not sure,
i think i only got a full paper copy of my license with my full, as it came with a copy of the HAREC as well
if you can download and print your license from the OFCOM portal just for a record, i think when i did get a license in the post it took just over a week from applying for it
i never waited for the postman as i wanted to get on the air after passing foundation with Pete and Essexham, so just logged into OFCOM each day after getting the notification of passing and registered my pass and chose my callsign

thanks Peter. Nothing so far so guess I'll just print it out!
I was first licensed in 2016, upgraded to Intermediate in 2017 and to Full in 2019. I never received a paper copy of any of my licences in the post. I've printed several copies and keep them in various places (just in case).
Of course, the upside of having just the PDF is that you can operate as soon as you have downloaded it, and you don't have to wait for several days for the postman to deliver your paper licence! :-)

Hi,
I have just applied to have my licence re-issued (Full) after a lapse of quite a few years. Ofcom were very helpful and all went smoothly. Due some unique personal circumstances I requested a new call sign which was allocated. I received an invoice for the £20 fee which I paid online via their spectrum licensing web page.
So my question is simply do I receive a physical license in the post along with all the conditions or does one now have to print it all out myself from the account that was created? I have received nothing so far in the post.
Thanks
K
