What's this connector? (1 reply)
For anyone landing on this post via a search hit in years to come, the antenna manufacturer Shakespeare Marine sell a kit containing the part: ACC158 Solderless Cable Termination Kit. It looks as if this connector might be a proprietary machined part rather than a standard RF connector. Certainly had me stumped!

Does anyone know what this connector is please? It is a crimped female termination for RG58, which goes into a socket that has a protruding central pin, and spring contact to the side to meet the shield.
This is the feeder for a VHF marine antenna, V-Tronix YHK. In the instructions (http://hawkmarineproducts.com/pdf/V%20Tronics%20Instructions.PDF, page 2) they refer to it as a "solderless cable termination" and a "hollow nosed bullet". Unfortunately mine does not unscrew as it has been crimped in several places.
As the feeder has been damaged, I'm hoping to terminate a new cable run in this way.
Thanks & 73!
