Announcing the latest study aid from Essex Ham – the HamTrain Foundation Study Guide.
This is something of an experiment based on comments raised in our end-of-course surveys… the desire to have some kind of searchable electronic reference material to help study for Foundation “on the go”. To give it a try, we’ve compressed the key points of the Foundation exam syllabus into a new course book.
Our new Foundation Study Guide was released on the 14th of June 2024, and we’d love your comments… Are we on the right track with this guide? What can we add? What should be excluded? Could this be made better? Could it help with studies on the move?

The Guide covers the essentials, is broken down into modules that match the course material, and ends with some handy tips on how to pass the Foundation exam, as well as a mock test.
