Just a post to say thank you for the Foundation training (fast track) I took about 5 weeks ago after getting interested in amateur radio by a chance conversation the week earlier. I'd no background in radio and a minor knowledge of basic electronics from 33 years ago in school.
I passed the Foundation exam 4 weeks ago on the back of it (96%) after lots of mock questions, the Intermediate exam was taken last week (94%) and I've signed up for the Full exam this Friday on the naive basis that all this new electronics stuff is still fresh so it'd be easier now to learn it than in 6 months or a year (probably a bit too optimistic here, the Handbook only arrived on Saturday and the internet resources are scarce compared to the previous levels).
