A quick reminder that on Sunday the 5th of February, it’s the 2012 Canvey Rally!
If you’re new to the hobby, or haven’t been to a ham radio rally before, then you should definitely try to make time to come along to Canvey in February.

This year marks the 27th annual rally, and they’re always popular, so if you’re after a bargain, get there early. Doors open at 10:30am.
At the rally, you’ll find various tables looked after by amateur radio operators, local clubs and retailers – it’s a great place to pick up both new and second hand equipment, as well as books, components and shack accessories.
Refreshments are available, and you can pick up a famous Canvey Radio Rally bacon roll and a tea.
Where is the rally?
The Canvey Rally is at the Paddocks Community Centre, Long Road, Canvey Island. Sat nav users can use the postcode SS8 0JA – be warned that there are a number of speed cameras on the Island, and the limit is 30mph.
There is free car parking with space outside main doors for disabled visitors
