As the year’s ending, we’ll soon be removing the 2018 events from our Essex Amateur Radio Events Calendar to make room for what will hopefully be a busy 2019.

Following discussion with a couple of members over the weekend, we thought we should preserve our 2018 list. Our This Year’s Essex Field Events list is dynamic – so changes for each year, and the 2018 list will be replaced with the 2019 list – for that reason, here’s a dump of the list of Essex-wide field events that took place in 2018.

Well done to all of the clubs across the county for getting out-and-about in 2018 to promote the hobby to the public, as well as providing field day opportunities for members and local amateurs to get active on-air. Here’s to a busy 2019 of amateur radio in Essex.
