JOTA 2024 at East Essex Hackspace

On Saturday the 19th of October 2024, Essex Ham supported the 4th Rochford Scouts for the annual JOTA (Jamboree On The Air). We activated GB0EHH at the East Essex Hackspace in Hockley.

Thanks to Aubrey M7SDA, Dorothy M0LMR, Nick MoNFE and Pete M0PSX for putting on the station., and for those who worked us on-air.

The GB0EHH station was on-air on 2m, using simplex, the GB3DA repeater and the MB7ISX gateway. We are also running the Essex Ham Meshtastic node making contact with the network in Kent.
