Thanks to Trevor M5AKA for the following tip-off:
The Essex Secret Nuclear Bunker amateur radio station GB0SNB should be on the air this weekend (19 and 20th April 2014) from Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon.
GB0SNB is located in an RGHQ 5.1 Cold War Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, near Brentwood. The Bunker is located in the Borough of Brentwood, 32 km north-east of London and is a large underground bunker operated by the UK government from 1952 until 1993. It is hidden behind a small bungalow, tucked into some farm land along a small lane, which houses the main entrance to the bunker.
It is planned to operate on the HF bands using a beam and dipole. The group was active last weekend, and you can get a feel for their operations here: GB0SNB 11-13 April 2014 Report
The bunker is open between 10am to 5pm on weekends, and the admission price is £7. If driving, the postcode for your sat nav is CM15 0LA
