Is any one else hearing a funny noise on the repeater where it sounds like a wining noise then the transmission goes a bit quiet
Mitchell – it’s man-made interference, and is focussed on one of our participants, it seems.
billy no mates has been trying to key a few people
also for Lucy, m6ecg, i didnt hear what multiband antenna you asked about, if its for 40m-10m,6m,2m and 70cms, then the yaesu atas 120 is a reasonable antenna, needs to be well grounded and not adjusted on the move or it will break
Thanks for info Adam and for your kind offer …above and beyond the call of duty … THANK YOU!

Glad to see that you are having a ball tonight. Sorry I cant hear you as I’ve misplaced the name of the web site that rebroadcasts DA. Having a wonderful time up here in Wales activated 2 summits yesterday and another 2 today plus chased an EI summit (my first) last night. The weather if fine but there is a very cold wind and it’s quiet strong. Hope to do Cadair Berwyn tomorrow (an 8 pointer) so wish me luck. Good DX. Peter FOA
Brilliant! Sounds like you’re having a great time! Good luck with Cadair Berwyn tomorrow … Good DX!

KG0ZZ has a number of antenna designs on his website. In particular, he lists a 2 metre/70 cm design at:
