The first Essex Ham Monday Night Net of 2020 took place on the 6th of January started at 8pm local time.
This week’s net was a simplex net, held on 145.450MHz, as the net’s usual home of GB3DA, was off-air. No official reason has been given for GB3DA being off-air, but an announcement on the RSGB’s UK Repeaters website reports that the repeater’s NoV (Notice of Variation) expired on 22 December 2019. Our Monday Night Net launched back in 2011 and is still going strong. Everyone’s welcome to join, especially those who’ve recently got their licence and are looking for help with getting started in the hobby.
