As I type, an informal post-net net is still running past midnight!
Topics for the evening, as follows:
In tonight’s net, here’s what was discussed:
- A look at yesterday’s Canvey Rally – Hope you all enjoyed our short video
- Who’s built the Pixie CW transmitter? Steve 2E0UEH for one!
- A request to remove details of the Romford repeater from our list (as Romford isn’t in Essex any more) – but members have voted for it to stay on the list
- Studying for the Full licence – Any tips on rememberting the Reciprocal licensing rules?
- It’s windy – how safe is your 10 metre vertical?
- Thanks to Paul G7BHE for providing tonight’s Monday Night Net Disclaimer. Apologies to those in the chatroom waiting for Kelly…
A great net, helped by comments from at least one of our number, who’d had a very “enjoyable night!” Great fun, and lots of laughs, which is what it’s all about.
Happy Hamming!

A great net as a,ways, although I came In Late , still enjoyed it, and the post net chat too , I think I succumbed about ten past midnight in the end , best wishes all thanks for running the net as always . HAPPY HAMMING xx
I was just looking at the 23 participants which became 24 when Darren (2EZerrio OCA) trened up plate on parade.
Bearing in mind last weeks attendance was a record breaker the number on last night’s net was still very impressive when put against the average that you gave out on the last net of 2015.
I personally had a blast during the net proper but had a good chinwag and giggle with the members of the Zerrio club after the official net close down :-).
Nice to hear Chris (2EZKDG) pop in and was sorry to hear his shack 2m rig was broken.
Seems like the Net is going from strength the strength and I look forward to Darren turning up in the future.
Nice one,
Defcon Bri
