Do we really need the http:// part of the address as its not very common you hear it. i could understand www. but not the http:// Heck even essexham.net seems to be a more valid idea. Means kelly has less to say. Maybe next time bit of a essex gangster rap.

Yes, I agree. Personally I think it’s unnecessary – As requested by the Essex Repeater Group, I sent over the existing wording (which had no http://), and they amended the wording to add it in. As they’re kindly allowing us to use GB3DA, we’ve implemented the changes exactly as they’ve requested…
Or to keep OM and YL hams happy, how about you and Kelly BOTH get together on it , like salt n peppa , or Dr. Dre and snoop dog . Now THAT would be a Disclaimer rap worth listening to heheh xx
We did look at that as an option, but we’d need to de-key and send callsigns on each changeover. Too messy! Perhaps for an off-air tribute version, or a live performance? Be interesting to see how the other two clubs that use ERG repeaters handle the ERG announcement going forward…
