Microwave enthusiasts who have a Full licence can now apply for a three year NoV to access 2300-2302MHz using up to 400W from a fixed location in the UK.
This new frequency range was negotiated by the Radio Society of Great Britain to partly offset the spectrum changes affecting other parts of the 2.3GHz band.
The NoV can be applied for online from the RSGB website at www.rsgb.org/2300nov.

I can’t see myself applying for any of them though maybe 146 to 147 depending on what people use.
I can’t really see the sense in 146 to 147, 2300 to 2302 and 472 to 479 as they are limited to full calls only, like the bands are not empty enough the new bits are only for full licenses, 2 mtrs dead, 70 cm’s dead and we increase a dead band by 50% and only allow full licenses so the odds are new vhf and up freqs will be dead the same, not worth having my radio opened up to listen to static.
